Located on the banks of the Swan River in historic Guildford, St Vincent’s Residential Aged Care comprises comfortable accommodation and care facilities within a unique heritage environment. The project included the construction of a new two-storey aged care residence alongside the refurbishment of existing heritage-listed buildings, including a nineteenth-century homestead and other historically significant structures. AluGlaze supplied and installed aluminium windows and doors in both spaces to enhance comfort through abundant natural light, welcoming communal spaces and strong visual connections to the surrounding landscaped grounds and river environment.
The completed glazing package includes full height waterfall windows and a stunning etched glass walkway all of which contributes to a warm, bright and uplifting environment that supports resident wellbeing in a unique architectural environment.
